Australia Zoo, located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast near the Glasshouse Mountains, is just 45 minutes north of Brisbane.

Awarded Australia's Best Major Tourist Attraction for 2003-2004, Australia Zoo offers a whole day of wildlife action and adventure! Get your adrenalin pumping as you watch crocodiles launch a strike in the 5000 seat Crocoseum. You can also watch the playful tigers as they stork the handlers and catch the thrilling free flight bird show in this amazing stadium. Other exciting daily shows include the cheeky Asian Otters, the cuddly koalas, snakes, and not to be forgotten, the amazing Giant Galapagos Tortoise called Harriet, the world's oldest living resident.

Throughout your zoo adventure keep your eye out for the unique wandering wildlife program or the chance to have your photograph taken wrapped in a giant python or cuddling a koala. At Australia Zoo, you even have the opportunity to have your very own intimate animal experience! You can feed the Giant Tortoises or gorgeous wombats, walk with the Tassie Devils, or have a massive Wedge-tail Eagle fly and land on your arm.
